Background Checks and Student Safety
The safety of our students is of utmost importance to DMYS. Adults in direct contact with students will be background checked. In addition, DMYS volunteers and team members take the following precautions:
No DMYS volunteers / team members will have unsupervised access to students without first undergoing a background check.
All non-checked DMYS volunteers / team members must always have 2 adults in a room when students are present.
In addition, all DMYS volunteers closely involved with finances will be background checked.
